hi
here i am seated in a laundromat awaitn my clothes to dry.
we are in orbost victoria - arrived in vic again just a coupla hours ago.
life is wonderful - no really, i mean totally, irresistably, wonderfully, sensationally wonderful! the birds, the trees, the wildlife, the people, the adventures - yep, i was born for such a time as this.
i have so much to say and so little time to say it.
from monday i will be staying with a great buddy of mine since boarding school days (wow - look out, here comes trouble!) and will have luxuries like POWER to be able to write online - woohoo
vic for who knows how long - afte a month at tumbarumba picking apples on an orchard with a variety of back-packers, foreigners and travellers (so MANY stories there!!)
wildlife - oh yes - echidnas, wombats, roos, emus, ostriches, wallabies, lyrebirds, possums, owls and birdlife extraordinaire!
we've payed for 2 nights on the road since we left ulla at the beginning of this year - not bad eh - and that was only cos the wind and rain was so severe it blew down the annex... and as you know, Buzz is only a bed - and there are only so many DAYS you can lie in bed - so we checked into a cabin in wagga (2 hours from where we were picking) for two glorious days of power and well, in reality, WASHING!!! the smokey, damp clothes and towels. by the way, we hired a dvd player and dvd and watched a lousy doco on footy - as you can imagine, we've been in no rush to get back to tv or dvd stimuli!
oh you should see the state of our picking clothes! amazing! who woulda thunkd i could get so dirty haha
so stay tuned
im not ignoring you - i just haven't had the electricity to write or been in a town that provides such services - until now. this delightful little laundromat where the washers don't work properly and we had to reload and rewash for another $4 per load, but they DO have powerpoints where i could plug in the ol lappy, open up my inbox (144) and begin the process of elimination!!! forwards, news, photos, love, encouragement, jokes - ah, ya gota love this life!
i have a file i've named jokes, yarns and nonsense - which is now full of unread email forwards that i couldn't delete before glimpsing! so i have my work cut out for me when i do get some power and time (a magical combination)
but how could i resist but to send you the luvn vibes now that im able! i mean - wow, thanks and thanks again for not forgetting me (i know, i know, i AM unforgettable)
gosh i wish i had longer but i dare not linger
time is crutial when we need to get to a camp, set up, light fire, cook dinner and do all before the sun sets - on a day like today (0vercast and freeeeezing) its hard to know the sun even rose this morning! but we must get going before DARKNESS FALLS and all is difficult)
life on the road - yes yes and more yeses
if you've thought it - do it!
but don't do it without God. it is He who has gone before us, ahead of us, lights the way, sets the scene, prepares hearts and blesses us beyond our wildest imaginings!
love joy and happy vibes

We're Cruising Oz
Chrissy and Steve, travelling evangelist hippies, are an ‘untameable’ married couple who responded to Jesus' call to "GO - tell 'em I love 'em" by selling what we owned - except our 1985 LiteAce van affectionately known as Buzz - and hitting the road in February 2009.
We basically cruise this country helping individuals, communities and churches in whatever ways we’re able to tap into the love of God. We do this through helping, giving, clothing, feeding, cleaning, serving, encouraging, imparting, preaching, running seminars and anything else we can think of to creatively demonstrate God's love. We don’t see this so much as a ‘mission from God’ but more a natural expression of who we are!
God loves His kids and chose us to go and show ‘em – it’s that simple.
