We left the South Coast of NSW and cruised down the coast casually to Fitzroy Victoria over a few days last week.We were eaten alive when we parked Buzz in the centre of a blood-starved World Mosquito Convention at The Willows, a rest area in Rosedale Victoria. We stayed long enough to emerge from buzz in the morning sleep-deprived, itchy, and weak from the loss of blood! And long enough to meet a fellow traveller there that made all the pin-pricking,blood-letting worth the welts! Daryl had 2 broken marriages and a misconception of God carried down from his religious father who "ruled with a Bible in one hand and a strap in the other". It was so exciting to share the Truth of the Gospel with him, share God's genuine unconditional love for him and leave him with a promise-tile made by my Ulladulla girlfriend Leann Hansen. The revelation, the difference this made to Daryl was tangible and instantly evident as the 'light was switched on' behind those eyes of hurt.Stuff like that is so rewarding!A few hours with someone that truly is LIFECHANGING!Continue to hold Daryl in your prayers as he begins an entire new journey - woohoo! On the city streets of Melbourne there are many faces we recognised from our time here in May. Beggars on the streets. So flipn sad!Its heartbreaking. We give what we can - sowing seeds of love and hope through our hugs, money, encouragement and just spending time.We got to have some precious time getting to know Robyn and her partner Carl, who begs with his 2y/o daughter Reba in his arms all day.Long-term help leaves me baffled and bewildered.Still.How does one be the Good Samaritan in the City in 2009?We just keep loving, and leaving God's stuff to God.We love you. Thanks for your continuing support!Chrissy, Steve - in Buzz.See ya on the road!
