We're Cruising Oz

Chrissy and Steve, travelling evangelist hippies, are an ‘untameable’ married couple who responded to Jesus' call to "GO - tell 'em I love 'em" by selling what we owned - except our 1985 LiteAce van affectionately known as Buzz - and hitting the road in February 2009.

We basically cruise this country helping individuals, communities and churches in whatever ways we’re able to tap into the love of God. We do this through helping, giving, clothing, feeding, cleaning, serving, encouraging, imparting, preaching, running seminars and anything else we can think of to creatively demonstrate God's love. We don’t see this so much as a ‘mission from God’ but more a natural expression of who we are!

God loves His kids and chose us to go and show ‘em – it’s that simple.

THE WARMTH OF NORTHERN NSW

During March we were privileged to have been invited to the Apostolic Network Leadership Retreat (sounds fancy,eh? Believe me, IT WAS!) We met with, and were encouraged greatly by, leaders from churches all over the State. Surf, sun, warmth, alfresco dinners and a flash motelroom were part of that experience. One of the highlights on the Port Macquarie streets was a delightful time witnessing to and building-up a young bar worker as she was sorting out what to keep in her life and what to throw away.A sad discovery with the many people God puts in our path, is those who are so 'sick to death' of religion they actually throw God away in their frustration with all the manmade rules. Helping people discover God's rich, pure, delightful, liberating love is a joy. Seeing faces relieved of the guilt of not being able to live upto the false 'religious' requirements and opening themselves to the TRUTH of God's massive, big heart of LOVE for them right where they're at, exactly the way they are, is a delight we shall never tire of. We carry a message people are LONGING to grasp!
