We're Cruising Oz

Chrissy and Steve, travelling evangelist hippies, are an ‘untameable’ married couple who responded to Jesus' call to "GO - tell 'em I love 'em" by selling what we owned - except our 1985 LiteAce van affectionately known as Buzz - and hitting the road in February 2009.

We basically cruise this country helping individuals, communities and churches in whatever ways we’re able to tap into the love of God. We do this through helping, giving, clothing, feeding, cleaning, serving, encouraging, imparting, preaching, running seminars and anything else we can think of to creatively demonstrate God's love. We don’t see this so much as a ‘mission from God’ but more a natural expression of who we are!

God loves His kids and chose us to go and show ‘em – it’s that simple.

south coast NSW to cooktown qland

Here we go
We're on the road again.............We had so many South Coast friends and family on our list of 'must see' and then couldn't/didn't in the coupla weeks we were there!  argh grrrrrrrr bugga bumma!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plan is to be back on the south coast in September (steve turns 50 and the family need to be together to make sure he gets all the arm punches a 50-year-old deserves hehe)
Our time was filled with everything bright and beautiful, sunny and special, glorious and refreshing....mostly by the name of Ella, Mia and Willow - the three little girls who have captured our hearts and wrapped us around their little fingers until their wish is our command.  There is such POWER in a granddaughter!!!!!!!!!!!
During our time on the coast we got to swim in the wild ocean and walk the pristine beaches, attend two vibrant encouranging churches - Highway Christian Church in Ulla and Southland Church in Batemans Bay, shop with our three daughters, take part in youngest granddaughter Willow's Dedication, spend a coupla days with chrissy's mum, stay with newlyweds youngest son and wifey, picnic, push little girls on swings, eat curries and drink red wine, laugh with Shoalhaven Anglican School students at Scripture classes and catch up with a few close friends.
 It was refreshing, rejuvinating and inspirational.  We are BUZZING now as we hit the road again for 4 months...........  Wagga to see our eldest son 'march out' with the airforce, Wagga to catch up with the 'family' we have at the Christian church there, then Condobolin to see Pastor Shazz Wright and spend some time talking health with the indiginous women, hmmmm after that its about 6weeks in Inverell sharing in community work with amazing pastors Greg and Lindal, and then we plan on heading up to Qland sunshine - townsville and at last COOKTOWN - WARMTH ahhhhhhhhhhh

Prayer points for those who can:

*  Money for the journey
*  Time and Space and Power-outlets for Chrissy to continue her full-time community services studies on the road
*  For eyes to see the needs of others - and the power and love of Christ to meet those needs
