We're Cruising Oz

Chrissy and Steve, travelling evangelist hippies, are an ‘untameable’ married couple who responded to Jesus' call to "GO - tell 'em I love 'em" by selling what we owned - except our 1985 LiteAce van affectionately known as Buzz - and hitting the road in February 2009.

We basically cruise this country helping individuals, communities and churches in whatever ways we’re able to tap into the love of God. We do this through helping, giving, clothing, feeding, cleaning, serving, encouraging, imparting, preaching, running seminars and anything else we can think of to creatively demonstrate God's love. We don’t see this so much as a ‘mission from God’ but more a natural expression of who we are!

God loves His kids and chose us to go and show ‘em – it’s that simple.

IN DA HOUSE
'Liberty' has very much become family to us in the month we've been here.There's such LIFE in what is happening here… we can picture Scripture in action... Jesus saying, "Give the people this message of life." (Acts 5:20)  and a personal favourite; "If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God." (2 Corinthians 5:13)  By His grace we've been walking in & witnessing wonders & power! Wonders so miraculous & power so penetrating that we're amazed – everywhere we turn we see the Spirit moving.  It's like we're caught up in His wake, and swept along, rising on eagles' wings.  Soaring..Laughing. Yeah, the joy is a part of the fruit.  Love blossoms & all are experiencing the refreshing wind of the Holy Spirit – & loving it!

We'd been tentatively taking our baby steps in this wonderful, exotic, sometimes confussing & frustrating, crazy anointing known as EVANGELISTS for some years but we seem to be walking in something new. Maybe it could be described as EXPECTANCY.  (Ps Ian Wright used to say that, "expectancy is the highway to miracles") EXPECTANCY within us the past many years has ensured we never doubted we would 'GO' - haha, and here we are - 'going'!

Here in Inverell, expectancy jumped out and gripped every heart in the church last Sunday as we preached. Not because of us. (We know we're merely available vessels – it was the people who had been seeking & asking, we just arrived to deliver the goods. Like packhorses: we come.. we deliver.. we go..)  It's a generous, supernatural move of God... a shift in the spiritual climate.  Wild, free, creative, daring, different...like a whirlwind. It's like we're 'carriers' of some supernatural virus & the 'fever' comes into every home we enter!

Encounters ARE happening. Connections have been made. Families reconciled. 

God's grace is immeasurable & His mercy inexhaustible! Lives DO change.  (1 Peter 1:3)   "It is by God's great mercy that we've been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead.  NOW WE LIVE WITH GREAT EXPECTATION!!!" We encourage YOU - 'Go', our friends.... do it -EXPECT!
