We're Cruising Oz

Chrissy and Steve, travelling evangelist hippies, are an ‘untameable’ married couple who responded to Jesus' call to "GO - tell 'em I love 'em" by selling what we owned - except our 1985 LiteAce van affectionately known as Buzz - and hitting the road in February 2009.

We basically cruise this country helping individuals, communities and churches in whatever ways we’re able to tap into the love of God. We do this through helping, giving, clothing, feeding, cleaning, serving, encouraging, imparting, preaching, running seminars and anything else we can think of to creatively demonstrate God's love. We don’t see this so much as a ‘mission from God’ but more a natural expression of who we are!

God loves His kids and chose us to go and show ‘em – it’s that simple.

LIFE ABUNDANT
Signets!  Four little white swans, covered in fluff, white bums bobbing, cruising with proud black parents was a rich, rare blessing for Chrissy and her mum as they meandered along the boardwalk in a park in Batemans Bay this week.  Chrissy can't recall seeing signets in nature before - and it really blessed her and her mum, visiting from Wollongong for a few days after our baby's 21st birthday celebrations on the weekend.  How wonderfully refreshing it is to take a moment in our busy lives to just stop & enjoy & appreciate what's around us...each time we do, we're bound to receive some unexpected blessing - a kiss from Heaven, so to speak, a moment to cherish and share.
'Work', ministry, family - LIFE here causes our hearts to pound.... its just so EXCITING! - trusting our Heavenly Father and allowing Him to work through us isn't always easy (never pushing, just allowing God to build) but it is always rewarding!  We have seen some very special people growing in their own self-worth... broken people, people who have been chewed up and spat out by society - but are realising they are nurtured and loved by God.  It is an exciting time to be in ministry and the electricity often shoots through us like bolts of lightning straight from the Throne - its just that tangible and powerful and real and LIFE-CHANGING.
From low-self-esteem to depression and other mental/emotional 'illnesses', people seem exhausted... some give up & stop expecting much from themselves.  It is challenging and rewarding, heartbreaking and breathtaking to have the privilege to stand beside some such people for a part of their journey.  We minister from our hearts -being 'real' ... no more will people take 'religion' - no more 'us and them' or upperclass and lowerclass... just one in Christ, from one sister/brother to another...  and when people are treated that way, they rise!  
Oh exciting days... thrilling adventure... ADDING VALUE TO LIVES through THE POWERFUL AMAZING GRACE AND LOVE OF CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Rejoicing as all God's kids, everywhere, rise in the powerful, supernatural, effective, lifechanging ministry entrusted to our care as we bear His sweet, delicious fruit!!
